The claimant was a passenger on his brother-in-law’s motorcycle when it was struck by a motor vehicle driven by the defendant.
The claimant whom Cobleys represented was badly injured sustaining multiple injuries including a brain injury, fracture to the skull, loss of sight in one eye plus other fractures.
Our client was not wearing a helmet.
During the case we obtained reports from various medical experts including a Neuro-psychologist and we also obtained reports from a Case Manager, a Nursing and Care expert together with a report from the leading Metallurgy & Materials expert in the country.
At the High Court of Justice in Liverpool on Friday 27th July, Cobleys were successful in obtaining judgement for our client in the sum of £800,000.00 (less 15% deduction for our client not wearing a helmet).
